Another interesting game for Nantes Reze (8-9) which hosted 5th ranked Basket Landes (9-8). Eighth ranked Nantes Reze had an easy win 72-57. Canadian power forward Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe (188-91, college: Simon Fraser) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and naturalized Serbian Lidija Turcinovic (184-94) chipped in 19 points. Nantes Reze's coach Emmanuel Coeuret allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Spanish swingman Queralt Casas (177-92) responded with 14 points and international Celine Dumerc (169-82) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Nantes Reze maintains eighth place with 8-9 record. Basket Landes lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. They share it with Lattes Montp.. Nantes Reze will play against higher ranked Flammes (#3) in Charleville in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Basket Landes will play at home against Tarbes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
