Rather expected game when 3rd ranked Chantada (16-8) was rolled over on the road by top-ranked Marin (24-0) 84-56 on Sunday. The game without a history. Marin led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 60.7 percent from the field. The best player for the winners was American power forward Tre Hale-Edmerson (206-92, college: CS Northridge) who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Dario Suarez (181-87) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists. Five Marin players scored in double figures. Point guard Pelayo Larraona (170-90) produced 17 points and point guard Ruben Pernas (185-81) added 16 points (perfect from the field making all six shots) respectively for the guests. Chantada's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Marin have an impressive 24-game winning streak.
