Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked RETAbet BB (6-16) was outscored on the road by third ranked Valencia Basket (15-7) 87-67 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Valencia Basket. RETAbet BB was better in fourth quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Valencia Basket made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with FC Barcelona and Baskonia. RETAbet BB lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with 16 games lost. Valencia Basket will face CB Canarias (#9) in Tenerife in the next round and are hoping to win another game. RETAbet BB will play at home against Real Betis (#17) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
