Regular Season Round 43: Gunma - Bambitious Nara 70-84

Very important is a home loss of second ranked Gunma (24-17) against sixth ranked Bambitious Nara (11-31) on Sunday night. Host Gunma was defeated by Bambitious Nara in Gunma 84-70. Bambitious Nara dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Gunma's 32. They outrebounded Gunma 42-25 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Joshua Dollard (203-86, college: Auburn) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Daiki Terashita (190-80) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American forward Scootie Randall (198-90, college: Temple) answered with 20 points and 4 assists and point guard Hirotaka Kondo (187-82) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Gunma. Four Bambitious Nara and five Gunma players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Bambitious Nara have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 11-31 record. Gunma at the other side keeps the second position with 17 games lost. Bambitious Nara's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Kumamoto V. on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Gunma will play against Shinshu BW in Nagano and hope to win that game.
