Regular Season Round 43: Tokyo Z - Kagawa FA 72-68

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked Kagawa FA (16-24) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Tokyo Z (18-24) 72-68 on Sunday. It was a great evening for guard Tatsuya Nishiyama (171-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 5 assists. American forward Cinmeon Bowers (201-93, college: Auburn) helped adding 13 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and Nigerian forward Abdullahi Kuso (206-84, college: Tallahassee CC) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Tokyo Z maintains sixth place with 18-24 record. Kagawa FA lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 24 games lost. Tokyo Z will face higher ranked Kanazawa Sam. (#3) in Ishikawa in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kagawa FA will play at home against Orange Vikings and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
