Regular Season Round 26: Lubin - AZS KU PO 60-116

No shocking result in a game when third ranked AZS KU PO (20-6) outleveled on the road 14th ranked Lubin (3-23) 116-60 on Sunday. AZS KU PO dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Lubin's 36 and made 24-of-26 free shots (92.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Lubin 44-21 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. AZS KU PO looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Lubin's players. Lubin was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Grzegorz Zadecki (195-83) scored 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Radoslaw Basinski (188-78) chipped in 14 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Five AZS KU PO players scored in double figures. Forward Damian Szablewski (191-91) responded with 19 points and guard Milosz Olejniczak (183-86) scored 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. AZS KU PO have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group D, which they share with Slask 2 Wroclaw. Lubin lost ninth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with 23 games lost.
