Regular Season Round 43: Kanazawa Sam. - Shinshu BW 61-64

Important game to mention about took place in Ishikawa. Fifth ranked Shinshu BW (19-22) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 3rd placed Kanazawa Sam. (20-21) 64-61 on Sunday evening. It was an exceptional evening for American Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Tim Dezelski (198-90, college: Hillsdale, agency: Duran International) accounted for 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. American center Wayne Marshall (211-86, college: Temple) came up with 12 points and 5 rebounds and Kosovan forward Drilon Hajrizi (203-91) added 7 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Kanazawa Sam. in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Shinshu BW maintains fifth place with 19-22 record. Newly promoted Kanazawa Sam. keeps the third position with 21 games lost. They share it with Cyberdyne IR. Shinshu BW will play against league's second-placed Gunma at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kanazawa Sam. will play against Tokyo Z and hopes to get back on the winning track.
