Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Picken Claret (15-7) defeated 13th ranked Olimpico 64 (4-18) in Madrid 57-51 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 18-10 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Quite impressive performance for forward Esther Saez (178-97) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Juana Camilion (172-99) contributed with 12 points for the winners. The former international power forward Irene Herradas (186-78) replied with 6 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and swingman Susana Bacete (179-93) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Olimpico 64. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Picken Claret have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position in Group B with 15-7 record.
