An interesting game for Homenetmen (18-4) which played road game in Dik El Mehdi against 3rd placed Champville (14-8). Second ranked Homenetmen managed to get a 14-point victory 92-78. Homenetmen players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Tunisian Makram Ben-Romdhane (204-89) stepped up and scored 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) chipped in 16 points and 10 assists. Five Homenetmen players scored in double figures. The former international forward Fadi El-Khatib (198-79) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists and American point guard Travis Trice (183-93, college: Michigan St.) scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Champville's coach Ghassan Sarkis rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Homenetmen maintains second place in Group A with 18-4 record behind leader Al Riyadi. Champville at the other side keeps the third position with eight games lost.
