The game between closely ranked teams ended with 14th ranked Agribertocchi OR's (4-20) road loss to thirteenth ranked Unieuro Forli (10-14) 82-96 on Sunday. Unieuro Forli outrebounded Agribertocchi OR 40-29 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Naturalized American center Dane DiLiegro (204-88, college: New Hampshire) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Unieuro Forli's coach Giorgio Valli used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Argentinian Mario-Jose Ghersetti (201-81) who recorded 17 points and 7 rebounds and American point guard Adam Smith (185-92, college: Georgia Tech) added 15 points respectively. Four Unieuro Forli and five Agribertocchi OR players scored in double figures. Unieuro Forli moved-up to twelfth place in A2. Newly promoted Agribertocchi OR dropped to the sixteenth position with 20 games lost. Unieuro Forli will face higher ranked GSA Udine (#3) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Agribertocchi OR will play against UCC Piacenza (#13) and hope to win that game.
