Very important is a road loss of second ranked Atalaya Rosario (15-15) against seventh ranked Suardi (10-12) on Sunday night. Visiting Atalaya Rosario was defeated by Suardi in 94-76. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Atalaya Rosario's 30. They outrebounded Atalaya Rosario 42-25 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Suardi looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by center Horacio Cardani (208-89) who scored that evening 24 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and guard Agustin Pautasso (192-97) supported him with 25 points and 5 rebounds. Even 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists by forward Max Yanson (195-95) did not help to save the game for Atalaya Rosario. Guard Jordi Godoy (186-96) added 19 points for the guests. Suardi moved-up to fifth place, which they share with San Martin CC. Atalaya Rosario lost fourth consecutive game. Atalaya Rosario at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the second position with 15 games lost. Suardi will meet H.San Javier (#6) in the next round. Atalaya Rosario will play against Union de Sunchales (#8) and hope to secure a win.
