No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked Cambados (10-14) beat on the road bottom-ranked Martorell (4-20) 71-61 on Sunday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Cambados outrebounded Martorell 45-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for power forward Carlos Poyatos (207-94) who led his team to a victory with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Argentinian guard Juan-Martin Orellano (190-89) contributed with 9 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Cambados players scored in double figures. Nil Bria (195-97) replied with 13 points and guard Xavi Guirao (190-87) added 7 points and 4 assists in the effort for Martorell. Martorell's coach Adria Alonso rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Cambados maintains twelfth position with 10-14 record. Martorell lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 20 lost games. Cambados will face Zamorano (#15) at home in the next round. Martorell will play against Agustinos-Leclerc in Leon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
