There was an upset when higher ranked Civitanova (13-12) was edged at home by eleventh ranked Nardo (12-13) 67-66 on Sunday. Serbian-Montenegrin center Goran Bjelic (204-83) fired 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Romanian forward Alin-Giani Zaharie (198-94) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Nardo players scored in double figures.
