Regular Season Round 25: Scauri - Cassino 87-90

Everything went according to plan when third ranked Cassino (19-6) edged on the road 9th ranked Scauri (11-14) 90-87 on Sunday. Cassino made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Naturalized Argentinian power forward Enzo-Damian Cena (200-92) fired 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Argentinian swingman Manuel Carrizo (196-80, agency: Players Group) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Forward Davide Serino (199-81) produced 21 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Vincenzo Provenzani (188-99) added 19 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Cassino and four Scauri players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Cassino. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Crema. Loser Scauri dropped to the tenth position with 14 games lost. Cassino will face Capo d'Orlando (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Scauri will play against Roma S.Azzurra and hope to win that game.
