Regular Season Round 22: Udominate - Telge 72-70

Fourth-ranked Telge (11-9) was very close to win a game against second ranked Udominate (18-3) in Umea on Sunday. Udominate managed to secure only two-point victory 72-70. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Telge. Udominate dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Telge's 24. They outrebounded Telge 37-25 including 25 on the defensive glass. Udominate looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Tiffany Brown (165-86, college: Georgia South) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Lithuanian forward Gintare Mazionyte (188-91, college: Texas) contributed with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Udominate players scored in double figures. American guard Tayler Mingo (170-92, college: Wright St., agency: ProDep Management) replied with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and her fellow American import guard Taylor Wurtz (183-90, college: Wisconsin) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Telge. Udominate maintains second position with 18-3 record having just two points less than leader Lulea Basket. Telge at the other side keeps the fourth place with nine games lost. Udominate are looking forward to face Norrkoping Dolphins (#6) on the road in the next round. Telge will play against the league's leader Lulea Basket and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
