There was an upset when higher ranked Teramo (13-12) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Fabriano (9-16) 79-71 on Sunday. Teramo was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Fabrizio Gialloreto (187-87) fired 27 points and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Filiberto Dri (190-89) chipped in 16 points. Serbian power forward Bogdan Milojevic (200-98) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and guard Simone Salamina (188-88) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Four Teramo players scored in double figures. Fabriano moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Bernareggio and Olginate. Loser Teramo dropped to the eighth position with 12 games lost. Fabriano will face league's leader San Severo at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
