The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Cedevita as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Cedevita defeated 7th ranked KK Zabok in Zagreb 85-68. The game was mostly controlled by Cedevita. KK Zabok managed to win fourth quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cedevita dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to KK Zabok's 30. Cedevita forced 20 KK Zabok turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a good game for the former international center Andrija Stipanovic (209-86, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 4 assists. Bosnian Dzanan Musa (200-99, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Four Cedevita players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cedevita have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Zadar. KK Zabok at the other side keeps the seventh place with nine games lost. KK Zabok will play next round against Zagreb trying to get back on the winning streak. Cedevita will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked KK Skrljevo on the road.
