An interesting game took place in Rosh Pina where higher ranked Galil Gilboa (9-10) was upset on its own court by eleventh ranked Bnei Hasharon (7-12) 94-83. Galil Gilboa was ahead by 8 points at the halftime before a 52-33 second half run of Bnei Hasharon. They outrebounded Galil Gilboa 43-25 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jeff Adrien (201-86, college: Connecticut) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The former international swingman Shawn Dawson (198-93) contributed with 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Zach LeDay (201-94, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks and the other American import DAngelo Harrison (193-93, college: St.John's, agency: 3Eye) added 19 points in the effort for Galil Gilboa. Five Galil Gilboa players scored in double figures. Bnei Hasharon moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Ironi Nahariya and Ironi Nes-Ziona. Galil Gilboa at the other side keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. Bnei Hasharon's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Maccabi Haifa (#12) at home.
