Very important is a home loss of third ranked Champville (14-9) against fourth ranked Sagesse (14-9) on Tuesday night. Host Champville was defeated by Sagesse in Dik El Mehdi 101-84. They made 28-of-33 free shots (84.8 percent) during the game. Sagesse looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Dewayne Jackson (203-90, college: Morgan St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) who scored 31 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Jasmon Youngblood (195-84, college: Kent St.) chipped in 27 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Sagesse players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Fadi El-Khatib (198-79) who recorded 29 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Travis Trice (183-93, college: Michigan St.) added 15 points and 8 assists respectively. Champville's coach Ghassan Sarkis rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sagesse moved-up to third place in Group A, which they share with defeated Champville. Champville lost third consecutive game. Sagesse's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Beirut Homenetmen.
