Bottom-ranked Hapoel Migd.H. managed to get a sixth victory, breaking the three-game losing streak. This time they won against fourth-ranked Hapoel B/S in Beer Sheva 95-83. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hapoel B/S. American forward Dion Wright (201-93, college: St.Bonaventure) notched 31 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import forward Jimmy Hall (203-94, college: Kent St.) supported him with 22 points and 16 rebounds. Even a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds by the former international forward Or Solomon (202-93) did not help to save the game for Hapoel B/S. American guard Andell Cumberbatch (196-93, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: Octagon Europe) added 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Five Hapoel Migd.H. and four Hapoel B/S players scored in double figures. Hapoel Migd.H. maintains fourteenth position with 6-16 record. Hapoel B/S at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Maccabi Raanana. Hapoel Migd.H. will play against higher ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (#3) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Hapoel B/S will play against Elitzur Yavne and hopes to get back on the winning track.
