Rather expected game in Neuquen where 7th ranked Cipoletti (9-11) was defeated by fifth ranked Independ.N. (12-9) 87-83 on Friday. Independ.N. forced 20 Cipoletti turnovers. Cipoletti was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Christian Boudet (194-97) stepped up and scored 23 points and 6 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) for the winners and point guard Matias Stival (184-94) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was Sebastian Farias (186-83) with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Sebastian Godoy (196-93) scored 14 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Independ.N. have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Sol de Mayo and Estudiantil. Newly promoted Cipoletti dropped to the sixth position with 11 games lost. Independ.N. will have a break next round.
