Regular Season Round 38: Grodno-93 - RCOP Tsmoki 100-67

Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked RCOP Tsmoki (5-30) was rolled over on the road by second ranked Grodno-93 (31-4) 100-67. The game without a history. Grodno-93 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Grodno-93 forced 25 RCOP Tsmoki turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by RCOP Tsmoki's players. Ukrainian point guard Maksym Miroshnychenko (180-96) notched 9 points, 13 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and swingman Dzmitry Kuratnik (192-97) supported him with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Grodno-93 players scored in double figures. Even 20 points by Daniil Barysevich (191-1) did not help to save the game for RCOP Tsmoki. Herman Plotnikau (193-0) added 13 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Grodno-93 maintains second position with 31-4 record behind leader Tsmoki-Minsk. RCOP Tsmoki lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 30 lost games. Grodno-93 will again play against bottom-ranked RCOP Tsmoki (#10) in Minsk in the next round and are hoping to win another game. RCOP Tsmoki will have a break next round.
