The game between closely ranked teams ended with one of their biggest challengers Shiga L-Stars' (13-31) road loss to third ranked Toshiba Thunders (31-13) 60-83 on Friday. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Toshiba Thunders have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 31-13 record having just two points less than leader Ryukyu GK. Loser Shiga L-Stars keep the fourth place with 31 games lost. Toshiba Thunders will face Tochigi Brex (#4) on the road in the next round. Shiga L-Stars will play against Nishinomiya S. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
