Regular Season Round 22: Antibes - Monaco 52-99

Bottom-ranked Antibes (0-21) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 99-52 loss to thirteenth ranked Monaco (11-11) in Antibes. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Antibes' 26. They outrebounded Antibes 43-29 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Monaco players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. 31 personal fouls committed by Antibes helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. DR Congolese Shekinah Munanga (201-97) notched a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and Romain Poinas (203-98, agency: Two Points) supported him with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Antibes will play against Boulazac (#15) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
