Date: March 16, 2018
Not a big story in a game when 18th ranked Valkas SI (5-9) was rolled over on the road by fourteenth ranked Limbazi (10-5) 108-70 on Friday. The game without a history. Limbazi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Limbazi made 7 blocks. It was a great evening for forward Peteris Penka (198-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points and 9 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Point guard Armands Osins (190-91) helped adding 17 points and 7 assists (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Limbazi's coach Andis Cirulis felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rudolfs Feldmanis responded with 30 points and Estonian guard Niks-Niklavs Visnevics (194-99) scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Limbazi.
