Bottom-ranked Noorteliiga (0-12) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 12th consecutive match to sixth ranked Parnu (9-14) 107-56 on Saturday evening. The game without a history. Parnu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Noorteliiga's 34 and made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Parnu forced 19 Noorteliiga turnovers and outrebounded them 54-25 including a 39-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Noorteliiga's players. Forward Tormi Niits (196-98) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. The former international Timo Eichfuss (200-88) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. Five Parnu players scored in double figures. Guard Leemet Loik (198-1) produced 11 points and point guard Eric Schmalz (183-99) added 13 points respectively for lost side. Noorteliiga's coach Indrek Visnapuu gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Parnu maintains sixth place with 9-14 record. Loser Noorteliiga still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Parnu will meet league's leader Kalev/Cramo in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Noorteliiga's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tallinn TTU.
