Not a big story in a game when 18th ranked CFBB (1-26) was rolled over on the road by sixteenth ranked Aubenas (9-17) 97-54 on Saturday. Aubenas dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 32 and made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Aubenas had a 27-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Aubenas especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. Center Oumarou Baradji (202-89) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Justin Moss (201-93, college: Buffalo) chipped in 14 points during the contest. Four Aubenas players scored in double figures. Center Mathis Dossou-Yovo (202-0) responded with 10 points and 5 rebounds and the former international center Essome Miyem (208-1) scored 12 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aubenas moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. CFBB lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 26 lost games. Aubenas will face SAP Vaucluse (#14) in Sorgues in the next round. CFBB will play at home against Rueil (#3) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
