An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Byblos. First ranked Al Moutahed faced 4th placed Byblos. Guests from Tripoli (12-11) defeated host Byblos (4-20) 81-76. Al Moutahed forced 19 Byblos turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Hakim Warrick (206-82, college: Syracuse) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import guard Ramel Curry (191-80, college: CSU Bakersfield) accounted for 25 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Bosnian-FYR Macedonian center Marko Dujkovic (226-90) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds and American swingman Watkins Williams (194-87, college: Siskiyous JC) added 25 points respectively for Byblos in the defeat. Al Moutahed have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group B with 12-11 record. Byblos at the other side dropped to the fifth position with 20 games lost. Al Moutahed's next round opponent will be league's second-placed CS Antonins at home and it will be for sure the game of the week.
