Regular Season Round 30: Notec Inowr. - Pogon Prudnik 68-90

Not a big story in a game in Inowroclaw where 16th ranked Notec Inowr. (6-22) was rolled over by thirteenth ranked Pogon Prudnik (10-19) 90-68 on Saturday. Pogon Prudnik shot 61.8 percent from the field. Pogon Prudnik had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 68.2 percentage. Tomasz Prostak (188-88, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 27 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Pawel Bogdanowicz (197-87) chipped in 23 points during the contest. Four Pogon Prudnik players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Grzegorz Malecki (195-84, agency: Promotex) with 30 points (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) and center Lukasz Paul (205-89) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Notec Inowr.'s coach Marcin Grocki gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Pogon Prudnik maintains thirteenth position with 10-19 record. Notec Inowr. lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth place with 22 games lost. Pogon Prudnik will face higher ranked Siarka (#11) in Tarnobrzeg in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Notec Inowr. will play on the road against Kotwica (#12) in Kolobrzeg and hope to win that game.
