The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Cyberdyne IR's (22-21) home victory over 5th ranked Aomori Watts (10-34) 88-73 on Saturday. Cyberdyne IR dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Aomori Watts' 34. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was swingman Josei Maniwa (193-86) who scored 26 points and 6 assists. American swingman Lakeem Jackson (195-90, college: S.Carolina, agency: SDJ Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Joe Burton (201-90, college: Oregon St.) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Cyberdyne IR moved-up to third place, which they share with Kanazawa Sam. Aomori Watts lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 34 games lost. Cyberdyne IR will face again Aomori Watts (#5) at home in the next round.
