Regular Season Round 25: Real Canoe - Granada 72-96

LEB Silver top team - CB Granada (19-6) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Real Canoe (11-14) in Madrid 96-72. The game was mostly controlled by CB Granada. Real Canoe managed to win fourth quarter 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Real Canoe 36-22 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Power forward Devin Wright (202-86) fired 19 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Naturalized Senegalese center Maodo Nguirane (210-93) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. CB Granada's coach Pablo Pin felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bahamas swingman JR Cadot (196-87, college: TCU) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds and center Jose-Maria Gil (207-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 14 points respectively for lost side. Five CB Granada and four Real Canoe players scored in double figures. CB Granada maintains first place with 19-6 record, which they share with La Roda. Newly promoted Real Canoe dropped to the eleventh position with 14 games lost. CB Granada will meet at home Cambados (#12) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Real Canoe will play against Moron in Morón de la Frontera and hope to secure a win.
