Strangely Jass outrebounded Leones 54-42 including 40 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American center Nate Drayton (203-91, college: W.Texas A&M) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. American-Ugandan power forward ADarius Pegues (208-88, college: Campbellsville) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four Leones players scored in double figures. Leones' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Dominican Teodoro Romero who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and 18 rebounds and point guard Warren Plowden (183, college: Our Lady Lake) added 22 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Leones maintains fourth place with 5-6 record. Jass at the other side stay at the bottom position with six games lost. Leones will have a break next round. Jass will play against Toros (#3) and hope to win that game.
