Regular Season Round 17: Graficar - Bosco 78-80

Tenth-ranked Graficar (5-12) gave a tough game to fifth ranked Bosco (10-7) in Ludberg on Saturday. The visitors from Zagreb managed to secure only two-point victory 80-78. However their fans expected much easier game. Graficar was trailing by 7 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 22-19 charge of Bosco, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was forward Ivan Perkovic (197-97) who scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Filip Tusek (196-91) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Vilim Poljak (192-91) produced 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Matija Novak (199-81) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Graficar players scored in double figures. Bosco moved-up to fourth place. Loser Graficar dropped to the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Bosco will meet at home bottom-ranked Pula 1981 (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Graficar will play against Universitas in Split and hope to secure a win.
