No shocking result in a game when second ranked Firenze All Foods (21-5) crushed on the road 12th ranked Oleggio (11-15) 89-60 on Saturday. They outrebounded Oleggio 44-24 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Swingman Jacopo Lucarelli (197-96, agency: Players Group) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Alessandro Grande (183-94) contributed with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Firenze All Foods players scored in double figures. Point guard Penny Hidalgo (175-96) replied with 12 points and the former international power forward Matteo Canavesi (204-86, agency: Players Group) added 10 points in the effort for Oleggio. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Firenze All Foods maintains second position in B with 21-5 record having just two points less than leader San Severo. Loser Oleggio keeps the twelfth place with 15 games lost. Firenze All Foods will face Alba (#13) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Oleggio will play against Cecina and hope to win that game.
