Regular Season Round 44: Kagawa FA - Ehime OV 77-75

A very close game took place in Takamatsu between Kagawa FA and Orange Vikings. Fifth ranked Kagawa FA (17-25) got a very close home victory over 3rd ranked Orange Vikings (24-20). Kagawa FA managed to escape with a 2-point win 77-75 on Saturday evening. Kagawa FA looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 31 points, 19 rebounds and 9 assists and forward Takada Shuichi (194-83) who added 13 points during the contest. Kagawa FA's coach Kohei Etoh used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and Toshino Yoshihiko (186-92) scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Orange Vikings players scored in double figures. Kagawa FA maintains fifth position with 17-25 record. Orange Vikings lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with 20 games lost. Kagawa FA will again meet at home higher ranked Orange Vikings (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Orange Vikings will have a break next round.
