There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Polpharma (13-12) lost to eleventh ranked PGE Turow (14-13) in Zgorzelec 76-88 on Sunday. PGE Turow made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Polpharma was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Serbian forward Stefan Balmazovic (199-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 6 rebounds. American center Brad Waldow (208-91, college: St.Mary's, CA) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five PGE Turow players scored in double figures. PGE Turow's coach Michael Claxton allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
