Bottom-ranked Tokyo Cinq R. managed to get a fifth victory, breaking the series of six consecutive losses on Sunday night. This time they won against fourth-ranked Saitama Broncos 99-86. Tokyo Cinq R. made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American guard Andre Murray (188-87, college: Portland St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import forward Drew Martin (203-94, college: Concordia, OR, agency: Court Side) helped adding 22 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Kodai Takahashi (180-91) responded with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and American center Wendell Lewis (208-89, college: Alabama St., agency: HMS) scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Four Saitama Broncos players scored in double figures. Saitama Broncos' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Tokyo Cinq R. (5-27) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Tokyo Big Blue. Saitama Broncos at the other side keep the fourth position with 12 games lost.
