No shocking result in a game when tenth ranked Savonese (9-12) won against at home 12th ranked Roma SRB (6-16) 60-52 on Sunday. Savonese forced 24 Roma SRB turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Lucrezia Zanetti (175-97) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Elisabetta Penz (172-96) helped adding 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Quenn Ezinne Nnodi (190-89) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and forward Michela Marchetti (176-96) scored 9 points and 12 rebounds. Savonese moved-up to ninth place in A2. Roma SRB at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Savonese will face higher ranked Bologna (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
