There was a small surprise in Cordoba where sixth ranked San Martin LR (7-14) beat 4th ranked Independ. Oliva (14-8) 81-64 on Sunday. Center Rafael Banegas (202-92) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Matias Vergara (178-93) chipped in 21 points. Four San Martin LR players scored in double figures. Guard Daniel Tabbia (195-93) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and center Cristian Scaramuzzino (207-92) added 10 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. San Martin LR moved-up to fifth place. Loser Independ. Oliva dropped to the second position with eight games lost. San Martin LR will face league's leader Ferro Carrill O. in La Pampa in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
