Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked Isernia (2-24) lost at home to fifth ranked Valmontone (19-7) 64-51 on Sunday. The former international power forward Luca Bisconti (208-82, agency: SPORTlab Agency) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds. Swingman Dario Scodavolpe (193-83) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Guard Ferdinando Smorra (185-88) replied with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and swingman Fabio Riccio (188-90) added 16 points in the effort for Isernia. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Valmontone moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Crema. Loser Isernia keeps the sixteenth position with 24 games lost. Valmontone will face Salerno (#4) at home in the next round. Isernia will play against Battipaglia (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
