An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Bereldange. First ranked Racing faced their biggest opponent Residence. Guests from Luxembourg (13-12) smashed host Residence (11-14) 106-79. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Residence. Racing shot 65.6 percent from the field. They outrebounded Residence 32-21 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Racing shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 65.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American-Mexican forward Aaron Fuller (198-89, college: USC, agency: Haylett Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 26 points and 16 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winners. American swingman Scott Morton (195-87, college: Geneseo St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds and 14 assists. American forward Vincent Bailey (201-91, college: Lincoln Memorial) produced 24 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Oliver Vujakovic (192-96) added 16 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Five Racing and four Residence players scored in double figures. Racing have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Newly promoted Racing maintains first place with 13-12 record, which they share with T.Hesperange. Residence at the other side keeps the second position with 14 games lost. Racing is looking forward to face Heffingen (#4) at home in the next round. Residence will play against Contern and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
