Regular Season Round 45: Kagawa FA - Ehime OV 70-83

Rather predictable result when third ranked Orange Vikings (24-20) won against 5th ranked Kagawa FA (17-25) in Takamatsu 83-70 on Sunday. It was a good game for American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) who led his team to a victory with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Toshino Tatsuhiko (185-88) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Ayumu Osawa (177-91) added 9 points and 8 assists in the effort for Kagawa FA. Kagawa FA's coach Kohei Etoh rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Orange Vikings maintains third place with 24-20 record having just three points less than leader Akita NH. Loser Kagawa FA keeps the fifth position with 25 games lost. Orange Vikings will face Bambitious Nara (#6) on the road in the next round. Kagawa FA will play against Dragonflies in Hiroshima and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
