Second ranked Saint Vallier (21-6) crushed at home 18th ranked CFBB (1-26) by 47 points 97-50, which is the biggest margin this round on Tuesday night. Saint Vallier dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 34. Saint Vallier forced 22 CFBB turnovers and had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by CFBB's players. CFBB was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Michael Craion (195-89, college: ORU) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import swingman Drake Reed (194-87, college: Austin Peay St., agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Center Mathis Dossou-Yovo (202-0) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and guard Timothe Crusol (185-1) scored 9 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Saint Vallier maintains second position with 21-6 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Gries/Oberhoffen. CFBB lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 26 lost games. Saint Vallier will face Orchesien BC (#12) in Orchies in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CFBB will play at home against Rueil (#3) and hope to win that game.
