There was no surprise in Kolobrzeg where 16th ranked Notec Inowr. (6-23) was crushed by thirteenth ranked Kotwica (11-18) 76-56 on Wednesday. Kotwica dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Notec Inowr.'s 36. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Pawel Dzierzak (188-95) who led his team to a victory scoring 9 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Power forward Lukasz Bodych (201-90) helped adding 13 points. Kotwica's coach Pawel Blechacz used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side swingman Grzegorz Malecki (195-84, agency: Promotex) responded with 17 points and center Wojciech Zurawski (202-76) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Kotwica moved-up to twelfth place. Notec Inowr. lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the sixteenth position with 23 games lost. They share it with SKK Siedlce. Kotwica will meet higher ranked Siarka (#11) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Notec Inowr. will play against Biofarm PZN (#9) and hope to secure a win.
