Ninth-ranked Biofarm PZN (14-15) made lots of trouble for first ranked Spojnia (27-2) in Poznan on Wednesday. The visitors from Stargard managed to secure only two-point victory 74-72. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Biofarm PZN. Guard Marcin Dymala (187-90) fired 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Dawid Brek (187-89, agency: Promotex) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Spojnia players scored in double figures. Spojnia's coach Krzysztof Koziorowicz used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Filip Struski (200-94) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-94) added 12 points and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Spojnia have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 27-2 record. Biofarm PZN at the other side keeps the ninth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Enea Astoria. Spojnia are looking forward to face bottom-ranked SKK Siedlce (#17) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Biofarm PZN will play against Notec Inowr. (#16) in Inowroclaw and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
