A very close game took place in Aldeota between SKY/Basquete and Paschoalotto/Bauru. Ninth ranked SKY/Basquete (11-14) got a very close home victory over higher ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (16-10). SKY/Basquete managed to escape with a 1-point win 81-80 on Wednesday evening. The former international point guard David Rossetto (180-93) nailed 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and the former international Betinho Nardi-Duarte (195-88) accounted for 20 points. The former international center Rafael Hettsheimer (206-86) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and American point guard Kendall Anthony (173-93, college: Richmond) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for Paschoalotto/Bauru in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Paschoalotto/Bauru's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory SKY/Basquete went down to tenth position due to points difference. Loser Paschoalotto/Bauru keeps the fifth place with ten games lost. SKY/Basquete will meet higher ranked Minas (#9) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Paschoalotto/Bauru will play against Vasco Da G.
