Regular Season Round 31: Polonia Leszno - Polfarmex Kutno 73-62

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Leszno. Second ranked Polonia Leszno faced 4th placed Polfarmex. Host Polonia Leszno (22-7) defeated guests from Kutno (20-9) 73-62. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Kamil Chanas (190-85) who helped to win the game recording 21 points. Point guard Jakub Kobel (190-98) contributed with 11 points and 5 assists for the winners. Power forward Tomasz Wojdyla (201-77) answered with 13 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Michal Marek (208-96) added 13 points in the effort for Polfarmex. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Polonia Leszno maintains second place with 22-7 record having five points less than leader Spojnia. Polfarmex at the other side keeps the fourth position with nine games lost. They share it with R8 Krakow. Polonia Leszno will play against Nysa Klodzko (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Polfarmex will play against Pruszkow (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
