Second Stage Round 4: Deerlijk - Kangoeroes 64-87

An interesting game for Kangoeroes (1-1) which played road game in Deerlijk against 4th ranked Tulikivi (0-4). Fourth ranked Kangoeroes had an easy win 87-64. Kangoeroes outrebounded Tulikivi 43-30 including 32 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by Heleen Adams (172-94) who scored that evening 18 points and 5 rebounds and American-Cameroonian center Brittany Starling (183-94, college: USC Upstate, agency: ProDep Management) supported her with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Kangoeroes players scored in double figures. Even 12 points by forward Celine Lemmens (180-95) did not help to save the game for Tulikivi. Forward Silke Storme (172-92) added 12 points for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kangoeroes left bottom position moving up to second place, which they share with Laarne and B.Willebroek. Loser Tulikivi still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Verviers-Pep..
