An exciting game was when third ranked Third ranked Chunghwa Telecom faced one of their biggest challengers Taipower. Chunghwa Telecom (8-9) defeated Taipower (0-17) 69-60. They outrebounded Taipower 56-19 including a 27-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. International forward Wei-Lin Wang (180-93) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Jia-Wei Liu (175-88) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest.
