Regular Season Round 20: Kalev/Cramo - TTU 85-62

Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Tallinn: Kalev/Cramo (#1) and TTU (#7). Kalev/Cramo (22-1) smashed visiting TTU (5-17) by 23 points 85-62. The game without a history. Kalev/Cramo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by TTU's players. TTU was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Montenegrin forward Bojan Subotic (203-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Serbian-Bulgarian guard Branko Mirkovic (190-82, agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. American forward Levi Giese (206-90, college: Lafayette, agency: Blacktop Management) replied with 9 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Matthias Tass (208-99) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for TTU. TTU's coach Rait Kabin gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Kalev/Cramo have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 22-1 record. TTU at the other side keeps the seventh place with 17 games lost. Kalev/Cramo's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tallinn TLU/Kalev.
